On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, Fire Commissioner Brian O'Neill administered the Engineer Oath of Office to Eric Petravich, the Lieutenant Oath of Office to Dale Weber and the Battalion Chief Oath of Office to Robert Winkelman. Thanks to Local 2754 Honor Guard who presented colors and Retired Lieutenant Chaplain John Vogel who gave the Invocation. Chief Schofield spoke to the importance of each position and their loved ones pinned their badges. Lieutenant Weber's wife, Magdalena, gave his conferment speech and Battalion Chief Jim Hynes gave Battalion Chief Winkelman's conferment speech. Battalion Chief Winkelman spoke of his philosophy in serving as Battalion Chief. Congratulations to all!
