Promotional Ceremony - 01/16/25

On Thursday, January 16, 2025 a Promotional Ceremony was held at the Orland Fire District to promote the following:

  • Anthony Kaskadden to Engineer
  • Charles Murray to Lieutenant
  • Carl Jones to Battalion Chief

Retired Lieutenant/Chaplain John Vogel gave the Invocation, and Fire Chief Mike Schofield spoke to the importance of each rank and also the importance of continuing to strive to advance for the betterment of the District.   Next, Fire Commissioner DJ Jeffers administered the Oaths of Office and their loved ones pinned on their new badges.  Lieutenant Murray's Father, Chief Mark Murray, delivered his conferment speech, and Battalion Chief Nick Tufts delivered Carl Jones conferment speech.
